Ben Dreyer

Personal Training

If Ben Dreyer’s life were a mobile in a child’s nursery, movement and exercise would be its axis. Hanging from the mobile would be a pair of track spikes, a road bike, and a copy of “Zen and the Art of Archery.” Below that would be a piano, a guitar, and a stack of family photos. If that doesn’t clearly illustrate Ben’s training style, perhaps some historical context will.

Cory Sims

Personal Training

Cory grew up as a natural athlete--sliding on the concrete sidewalks of Chicago as soon as he was old enough to walk. Thankfully he sought much safer surfaces in sports such as soccer and baseball but rounded out his sporting experiences with basketball, tennis and a dash of martial arts.

My entry into fitness came out of a need to be strong. As a breast cancer survivor, I struggled and tested my own strength and endurance on a multitude of physical and emotional levels. Jo Chern

Personal Training Group Exercise

Being fitter and stronger brings the ability to do everything you want in your day to day life with strength, confidence and courage. That might mean gardening all day without suffering for two days after; running (or at least striding) after the grandkids when you take them to the park or—as one of Jo’s clients at age 72 expressed his goal--“fly fishing and using my chain saw.” You won’t get any bootcamp style training with Jo but you will find thoughtful core, strength, and flexibility training, sound nutrition and lifestyle counseling and a trainer who listens to you and personalizes training to your body and life. Her studio name says much about her style: “Small Change Personal Training.”
